PURPOSE: Provided are a liquid composition for protecting an oral cavity and teeth of a pet animal and a using method thereof, thereby keeping teeth, oral mucosa and a space between teeth clean and healthy. CONSTITUTION: A liquid composition for protecting an oral cavity and a teeth of a pet animal contains 10-50 parts by weight of xylitol, 0.05-20 parts by weight of chitosan, 0.01-6 parts by weight of at least one selected from the group consisting of vitamin B2, vitamin B6, vitamin D3, allantoin, calcium gluconate, amino acid, and collagen, and the balance of water. it has viscosity of 700-4000cps and pH 5.5-7.
