IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS WITH LIFT REGULATOR OF KNOCK-UP PLATE OF PAPER SUPPLY CASSETTE

PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus with a lift regulator of a knock-up plate of a paper supply cassette is provided to improve convenience by fixing the knock-up plate in the bottom of the paper supply cassette with automatically moving the knock-up plate down in separating the paper supply cassette, and by automatically moving the knock-up plate up with releasing the knock-up plate in installing the paper supply cassette. CONSTITUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a body(210) having an installation part(230); a paper supply cassette(220) installed and separated from the installation part to contain paper supplied to the image forming part of the body; a knock-up plate(240) mounted in the bottom of the paper supply cassette with lifting up and down; and a lift regulator of the knock-up plate. The lift regulator is composed of a locking unit fixing the knock-up plate moving down in separating the paper supply cassette from the installation part, a locking release unit unlocking the knock-up plate till mounting the paper supply cassette in the installation part, and an automatic falling unit automatically moving the knock-up plate down to the fixing position in separating the paper supply cassette from the installation part.
