METHOD FOR FABRICATING ELECTRO-LUMINESCENT DEVICE

PURPOSE: A method for fabricating an electro-luminescent device is provided to prevent damage due to a deposition mask and the short circuit between the first and the second electrodes by forming an insulating barrier rib. CONSTITUTION: A first electrode(12) is fabricated by forming a predetermined pattern on a substrate(10). Two or more insulating layers are partially formed on the substrate(10) and the first electrode(12) by using a single mask. The insulating layers have different height and different patterns. An electro-luminescent layer is formed on an upper surface of an electro-luminescent region. A second electrode having a predetermined pattern is formed thereon. The second electrode is orthogonal to the first electrode(12). A sealing process is performed to seal up the substrate(10).
