PURPOSE: A mobile terminal for remotely opening and closing doors is provided to remarkably increase security by remotely opening and closing various doors through infrared communication. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal comprises a receiving processing part(111), a locking button(112), an opening button(113), a control part(115), and an infrared ray transmitting part(117). The receiving processing part(111) receives a protocol, necessary for the opening and closing of various door open-close devices, through a wireless communication network. The locking button(112) is to set a locking mode for door open-close devices. The opening button(113) is to set an opening mode for door open-close devices. The control part(115) sets the locking mode according to the user's command through the locking button(112), and sets the opening mode according to the user's command through the opening button(113). The infrared ray transmitting part(117) converts an open/close signal, transferred from the control part(115), into infrared ray transmitting data and transmits the converted data through an infrared communication part(116).
