PURPOSE: A mobile terminal having an accessory LCD is provided to remarkably reduce the thickness of manufactured goods by displaying supplemental service information through an accessory LCD. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal comprises a control part(211), a transmit-receive processing part(212), a radio wave strength detection part(213), a remaining capacity measurement part(214), and a main LCD(215). Also the mobile terminal comprises an auxiliary LCD(216), a connection part(217), a connection detection part(218), and a display signal processing part(219). The auxiliary LCD(216) is attached/detached to/from the mobile terminal in order to display the extrinsic service information transferred by the control part(211). The auxiliary LCD(216) is attached/detached to/from the connection part(217) in order to connect a display signal, transferred by the control part(211), to the auxiliary LCD(216). The connection detection part(218) detects whether the auxiliary LCD(216) is connected to the connection part(217). The display signal processing part(219) converts display information, transferred by the control part(211), into a signal to be displayed through the main LCD(215) or the auxiliary LCD(216).
