PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A plasma display panel and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce manufacturing procedures and costs, while achieving improved quality of plasma display panel. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel comprises first and second transparent substrates opposed from each other; a plurality of scanning electrodes serving as the first electrode arranged on the second transparent substrate and a plurality of address electrodes serving as the second electrode arranged on the first transparent substrate, wherein the address electrodes are arranged perpendicularly to the scanning electrodes; barrier ribs(8) interposed between the second electrodes; and discharge cells(7) formed by recesses(7a) defined by the barrier ribs. One or more protrusions(10) are formed in the recess so as to divide the recess into a plurality of regions. The second electrode is formed by bonding, through the heat treatment, the conductive particles obtained from the conductive liquid material containing the conductive particles. The second electrode is arranged in each of the regions formed by the protrusions.
