The envelope filling machine has the envelopes (1) stacked in a magazine (2) and fed to a filling station in which the product is fed into an open envelope. The envelopes are positioned in an overlapping array in at least one successive station. The successive station (5) has at least one roller pair between which the envelopes are fed in an overlapping array. Claims include a method for envelope filling using the machine.
