PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for providing personal position-based information through a wired/wireless data communication network are provided to offer desired various information on the basis of user position information on a corresponding moving path of a user. CONSTITUTION: A terminal(110) has a wired/wireless data transmitting/receiving function, and supports a position measurement function. The terminal(110) displays provided information to transmit information to a user. A path generating server(140) generates an optimal path according source and destination information transmitted from the terminal(110) through a wired/wireless data communication network(120). An information DB(131) stores various information to be provided to the terminal(110) through the wired/wireless data communication network(120), and stores limited condition information for selectively providing information according to the type of information. If information is requested from the terminal(110) connected through the wired/wireless data communication network(120), an information providing server(130) generates path information and requested information as one integrated information according to a spatial correlation and provides integrated information to the terminal(110). |
