PURPOSE: An asynchronous memory using a source synchronous transmission method and a system including the same are provided to reduce current consumption and the number of pins and the consumption of a standby current. CONSTITUTION: According to the asynchronous semiconductor memory device, an array stores data information, and the first interface circuit(120) latches command and address information in response to the first strobe signal. A read circuit reads data from the above array according to the above command and address information. A signal generation circuit generates the third strobe signal by delaying the second strobe signal. And the second interface circuit latches data read by the above read circuit in response to the second strobe signal. The data latched in the second interface circuit is output to the external together with the third strobe signal during a read operation.
