PURPOSE: A washing machine motor having a washing shaft support member including a position decision projection is provided to prevent the current flow of the washing shaft support member to a washing shaft by forming the washing shaft support member with an insulating material. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine motor having a washing shaft support member including a position decision projection includes a stator having a coil part, a rotor(2), and a washing shaft(S). The washing machine motor further includes a rotor frame(21), a serration part(31), and a washing shaft support member(3). The rotor frame(21) includes a side part for loading a permanent magnet and a bottom part for supporting the washing shaft(S). The serration part(31) is formed at a center of the washing machine motor. The washing shaft support member(3) is coupled to the rotor frame(21) by using a through-hole. A combination projection(32) is formed at the washing shaft support member(3).
