Benzoylcyclohexanediones of the formula (I), process for their preparation and their use as herbicides and plant growth regulators are described.In this formula (I), R11, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 and R7 are various radicals, L is an alkylene chain, and Y and Z are a monoatomic bridge element.
