ELECTROMAGNETIC FLOW METER USING UNIFORM PIPE-MAGNETIC FIELD

PURPOSE: An electromagnetic flow meter using uniform pipe-magnetic field is provided to hold constant magnetic field at any positions, to accurately measure the flow by reducing error ratio in measuring the flow, and to reduce power consumption and minimize the generation of heat by minimally arranging electromagnets. CONSTITUTION: In an electromagnetic flow meter by using uniform pipe-magnetic field for accurately measuring electromotive force measured by the flow of fluid by constantly dispersing the magnetic field over the whole pipe, an electromagnet(20) is composed of a pair of magnetic field distributing cores(21) formed by layering semicircular silicon steel plates; a pair of magnetic cores(22) formed by layering rectangular silicon steel plates; a bobbin(23) for mutually combining and covering the magnetic field distributing core and the magnetic core; an exciting coil(25) wound around the outside of the bobbin; and a grounding electrode integrally attached to a flange of a pipe(1) to ground electricity generated at the pipe. The magnetic field distributing core and the magnetic core are arranged to cover the outer wall of the pipe.
