FIELD: oil-extracting and petroleum industry. SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with petroleum industry and petroleum refining industry. At realization of the remediation method they treat the petrol polluted ground (PPG) with biologically active compost, which has passed the partial decomposition. At that before the treatment of PPG by the indicated compost and-or after the treatment the PPG is introduced with an agent- detergent till it achieve an over-all soil porosity of no less than 25 % and poultry manure at a fixed ratio of ingredients. The produced mixture is additionally injected with mineral nitric and phosphate fertilizers at the rate of over-all mass content of nitrogen N and phosphorus in the mixture depending on the initial content of petroleum hydrocarbons C in a ground as C: N: = 100 : (1 / 10) : (0.1 / 1), and calcium containing the reagent ensuring the mixture pH equal to 6-8. At that the produced mixture is periodically agitated and humidified till the end of a cycle of remediation. The invention ensures remediation of PPG with a significant share of pollution products in it from ( 0 to 20 mass %) up to complete saturation of a ground by petroleum and petroleum products and at reduction of time required for remediation of a PPG and insuring their complete recovery up to the level of economic utilization due to acceleration and a deepening of processes of a microbiological destruction of different petroleum hydrocarbons in the ground, including resinous and asphalt fractions.
