FIELD: oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for use in piston pumps at drilling and operation of oil wells. Proposed valve group of positive displacement mud pump consists of seat with conical sealing surface and valve with flexible disk. Cylindrical belt-plunger, height 3-5 mm, is made on valve below sealing conical surface. Said cylindrical belt is provided with sharp cutoff edge in lower part. Upper part of seat hole is machined at high degree of accuracy to provide guaranteed diametric clearance between cylindrical belt and hole in seat within delta<=0,2mm. Invention is aimed at increasing service life of pump handling two-phase medium owing to provision of protection against damage of valve flexible disk under action of high velocity liquid jets and decrease of intensity of destruction of sealing conical surfaces of seat valve.
