FIELD: manufacture of guards for building sites. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes tempering of gypsum binder containing carbonate additive with composite solution containing concentrated sulfuric acid and water, mixing of gas gypsum mixture thus obtained and pouring of this mixture into mold; gypsum binder contains carbonate additive in the amount of 0.33-0.66% and composite solution contains additionally water-repellent fluid at the following relationship of components, mass- %: concentrated sulfuric acid, 0.84-1.64; water-repellent fluid, 1.25-2.47; the remainder being water. Composite solution may be prepared by introducing water-repellent fluid and concentrated sulfuric acid into water heated to temperature of 37-40 C. Ratio may be equal to 0.7.
