FIELD: mechanical engineering; drives for accelerated motion of carriage in metal-working machines. SUBSTANCE: proposed overrunning eccentric mechanism has holder, double-sided eccentric, eccentric rings and retainer. Novelty of invention consists in availability of cylindrical slots and holes in inner surface of holder which are oriented in parallel relative to shaft axis and coaxially relative to each other. Received by said holes and secured in them are dowel pins coated with high-molecular material; dowel pins are secured in holes by means of cotter pins. Dowel pins are fitted at spaced relation to cylindrical slots. EFFECT: enhanced durability due to avoidance of impact at seizure. 5 dwg
