FIELD: medicine, roentgenodiagnostics. SUBSTANCE: one should carry out contrast gastric and duodenal roentgenography in patient's vertical position under conditions of artificial hypotony. One should make horizontal line at roentgenogram from inferior edge of pyloric gastric department. It is necessary to evaluate the disposition of duodenojejunal curvature against this line. Chronic pancreatitis is diagnosed at disposition of duodenojejunal curvature mentioned being above this level in combination with clinical signs.
