PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking support system in which an attachment of camera to a vehicle is easy, a calculation amount required for an image processing is less and a distance from an obstacle can be certainly transmitted to a driver. SOLUTION: This parking support system is loaded on a vehicle and is provided with a single-eye photographing device 10, an image processing device 20, a display 30, a steering angle sensor 40, a wheel speed sensor 50 and a pulse counter 60. An ADC 21 converts an analogue image at two different position photographed by a photographing device 10 to a digital image and feeds it to a frame memories 22, 23. A CPU 24 calculates a data specifying a stereoscopic substance and a distance from the vehicle to the stereoscopic substance using the digital image data and a movement data of the above vehicle and converts to a bird's eye view image from above to which those data are added. The above bird's eye view image is memorized in a frame memory 27 and is outputted to a display 30 according to an indication timing controlled by a controller 28. |
