PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning system wherein heat storage operation with nighttime power source is ensured continuously operating a package air conditioner coping with heat emission from instruments installed in a computer room and a communication machine chamber, and stored heat is utilized for daytime cooling to reduce the running cost. SOLUTION: A plurality of package air conditioners are installed in a communication machine chamber in which a predetermined number of the machines used as spare machines have a heat storage function. In a night discount charge time zone of electric power the package air conditioner having an ice storage unit 7 is operated for storing heat while the package air conditioner not having the ice storage unit 7 performs cooling operation. In a time zone excepting the night discount charge time zone the package air conditioners having the ice storage unit 7 perform heat radiation operation, while the package air conditioners not having the ice storage unit 7 perform cooling operation. |
