PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the loss of data when a magnetic disk device is mounted on an on-vehicle information processor under a high-temperature environment for a long time. SOLUTION: After the Lock position (engine stop) of the key switch 31 of a vehicle is detected, data files not updated for a fixed period in a magnetic disk device 300 incorporated in an on-vehicle information processor such as a car navigator 400 are recorded again after data are reproduced in the order of the oldness in the car navigator 400. Thus, the loss of data caused by thermal demagnetization or the like is prevented even when the magnetic disk device 300 is left for a long period of time in a vehicle which tends to become hot.
