IN-PIT MAINTENANCE DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-pit maintenance device for an elevator which enables safe and smooth maintenance work even for the elevator with the pit depth exceeding 3800mm. SOLUTION: The above purpose is achieved by providing a limit switch in a pit 4 for stopping lowering of a car 3 in maintenance operation and a first switch 12 for invalidating this limit switch 9 in the maintenance operation and by lowering the car 3 to an appropriate position for a maintenance operator X on a working platform 7 to equipment 14 provided on a bottom face of the car 3.
