PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and compactly assemble a resonator to a rubber hose of an intake device. SOLUTION: An air intake hose for an engine is injection-formed by a blend material of ethylene propylene diene rubber and a polypropylene resin, and high and low projections 8, 9 and recessed portions 10, 11 are formed on the end edge 7 of the side opening 4 of the air intake hose. High and low projections 14, 15 and recessed portions 16, 17 are formed on the end portion 13 of an introduction pipe opening 12 of a polypropylene resin resonator. The resonator is assembled to the side opening 4 of the air intake hose by thermally welding the projection 8 of the end edge 7 and the projection 14 of the end portion 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
