GAS BARRIER FILM AND ITS MANUFACTURING PROCESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier film which does not contain chlorine in the structure and is excellent in oxygen gas barrier properties at a high humidity; and its manufacturing process. SOLUTION: The gas barrier film is formed from a composition containing a polyalcohol polymer (A), a vinyl polymer (B) containing polyitaconic acid as the main constituent, and an at least divalent metal compound (C) and has an oxygen gas permeability at 25°C at a relative humidity of 80% of 100 cc/(m2×24h×atm) or lower.
