PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic draining machine for an umbrella, which can rapidly and easily remove water droplets attached to the umbrella though the machine is small-sized. SOLUTION: The automatic draining machine for an umbrella has a body including a water droplet-removing chamber having a receiving space for entering and receiving the umbrella, a driving chamber for driving a water droplet-removing means, and a water gathering chamber for storing water droplets removed. The water droplet-removing means is provided within the water droplet-removing chamber separating at a certain interval from the periphery of the receiving space. The driving device for driving the water droplet-removing means is provided in the driving chamber. A water-gathering cylinder for storing the water droplets removed is provided in the water-gathering chamber. By such a construction, the droplets attached to the umbrella can be rapidly and easily removed, and so the machine can be effectively used at a rainy day in a department store or the like that is heavy in comings and goings of persons.
