PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a safety switch from getting damaged by hitting against other parts and equipments and prevent the other parts and the equipments from getting damaged in a safety switch being operated by detecting an abnormal vibration during centrifugal dehydration of a washing machine. SOLUTION: The safety switch is provided with a bending rotating support portion that can be freely bent by nearly 90°in the intermediate portion of a downward protruding lever. In place of the bending rotating support portion, a slide portion, the length of which can be adjusted, is provided in the intermediate portion of the downward protruding lever.
