PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tea pulverizing apparatus having a motor to rotate a mortar and placed above the mortar or placed under, at a side or in front of a recovery hopper without increasing the size of the apparatus. SOLUTION: The bottom of each recovery hopper 4 to recover tea powder ground with the mortar 2 is inclined in tapered form and the recovery hoppers 4 are positioned by placing the inclined faces 41 opposite to each other.
