PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Buddhist memorial tablet 1 which comprises a mount 3 and a rod section 5, has a container which can contain ashes of the deceased or the like inside, has heat-resistance, does not need a separate lid to overlay the container and reduces the cost. SOLUTION: The cylindrical rod section 5 made from stone is connected and fixed to a fitting recessed part 7 of short cylinder-shape formed on the upper face of the mount 3. A containing recessed part 9 is formed in the center of the fitting recessed part. Engagement holes 15 which are tapered circumferentially are formed in the first metallic part 11 fixed to the inner periphery of the bottom of the fitting recessed part. Engagement protrusions 27 are formed at the second metallic part 13 fixed to the bottom of the rod section, and are inserted in engagement holes and moved to peripheral direction, and get engaged.
