A process to optimize the production of photovoltaic units comprises sorting and classifying cells and modules according to short circuit current and impedance data in comparison with test data through a training process. Computer data is used and the spread of mean power values within a unit is minimized. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement to carry out the process above.
