PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a chemical resistant forming upper plate required at analyzing and synthesizing rooms of laboratories where various chemicals including solvents are handled is provided, and the upper plate manufactured by the method is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises a molding frame preparation process of preparing a certain sized molding frame(20) the front part of which is rounded; a raw material high speed mixing process of completely mixing the mixture to a high rotational speed after mixing 50 wt.% of chemical resistance molding resin, 3 wt.% of antimony trioxide, a small quantity of pigment for chemical resistance resin, 15 wt.% of high purity silica powder, 30 wt.% of stone powder for strength and discoloration prevention, 2 wt.% of micronized silica for preventing surface glossiness and a small quantity of hardener in an agitator; an upper plate forming process of coating a raw material mixture to a certain thickness on the bottom surface of the prepared molding frame(20); an upper plate drying process of naturally drying the molding frame(20) having a formed upper plate(10) for a proper time so that the formed upper plate(10) is cured; a coating material mixing process of blending 70 wt.% of high purity silica No. 4 having coarse particles, 27 wt.% of a binder of unsaturated polyester resin, 3 wt.% of antimony trioxide, a small quantity of hardener and a small quantity of pigment for obtaining color in an agitator; a coating material coating process of coating a coating material to a uniformed thickness on the upper plate of the prepared molding frame(20); a vibration and filling process of increasing the binding strength of the coating material to the upper plate by putting the upper plate on a vibration table and finely vibrating the upper plate for a proper time, thereby removing bubbles and pores generated inside the upper plate; an adhesive layer forming process of coating the mixture twice on a completely hardened filling layer after mixing 57 wt.% of silica No. 7 having fine particles, 40 wt.% of unsaturated polyester resin, a small quantity of pigment for obtaining color, 3 wt.% of antimony trioxide and a small quantity of hardener; and a surface layer forming process of hardening the adhesive layer after further coating an adhesive layer on the hardened adhesive layer three times after completely hardening the adhesive layer.
