<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hardness variable treatment instrument capable of adjusting the hardness of the insertion part of a disposal appliance for an endoscope. <P>SOLUTION: In the hardness variable treatment instrument inserted in a disposal appliance insertion channel provided to the insertion part of the endoscope when used and having a sheath comprising an adhesion coil equipped with a disposal function part provided to the leading end thereof, a hardness adjusting means for altering the adhesion degree of the adhesion coil to adjust the hardness of the sheath is provided on a sheath base end side. The hardness adjusting means is provided with an operation part, which is constituted of a shaft body, a finger hooking part formed to the base end of the shaft body and an operation slide part provided to the shaft body, and a fixing part varying the tensil force of an operation wire connected to the disposal function part to hold the varied tensile force and preventing the movement of the operation slide part toward the insertion part in order to hold the tensile force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
