<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven power steering device capable of preventing a driver's good feeling from being degraded even if neutral voltage is abnormal due to malfunction of the device. <P>SOLUTION: This motor-driven power steering device ECU5 comprises a microcomputer 10 as a motor control unit, a PWM signal generating circuit 20 for generating a PWM signal corresponding to a command value D, a motor driving circuit 22 for applying the voltage corresponding to PWM signal to a motor 6, a current detector 21 for detecting the current running through the motor 6, a limited-value storage circuit 13 for storing a limited value L showing an allowable range of neutral voltage, a limited-voltage generating circuit 12 for comparing an actually measured neutral voltage value stored as a neutral voltage with the limited-value L and generating a signal of a limited voltage value Ov within the range of the limited value L, and an amplifier 11 for outputting a signal amplified with a differential voltage between a signal from a torque sensor 3 and a signal from the limited-voltage generating circuit 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
