<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for cooking rice, containing a plant sterol hardly dissolvable with water or oils, and easily dispersing the plant sterol on cooking the rice. <P>SOLUTION: This composition for cooking the rice is obtained by incorporating a glycerol fatty acid ester having an organic acid ester in its molecule and a sucrose fatty acid ester with the plant sterol as essential components and tablet-forming. The plant sterol-containing composition for cooking the rice improved with the water dispersing property of the plant sterol can disperse the plant sterol on completing the cooking of the rice without reducing palatability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
