<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner wherein dirties adhered to a vaporization side heat exchanger can be more efficiently washed, and to provide a control method of the air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner 1 is provided with an indoor heat exchanger 20, a cross flow fan 21, an ultrasonic vibrator 24, and a control unit 60. The indoor heat exchanger 20 exchanges the heat between the air. The cross flow fan 21 feeds the air to the indoor heat exchanger 20. The ultrasonic vibrator 24 vibrates the indoor heat exchanger 20.
