PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely connect a land grid array type CPU onto a circuit board. SOLUTION: A connector 1 has a case 5 made of an insulating substance and a plurality of terminals 6 attached to a through hole 7 of the case 5. The case 5 has an abutting part 8 for abutting to a lower side of a contact part 6b in the each terminal 6. A fixing part 6a is connected to a land part 11 on a surface of the circuit board 4 via a cream solder 13. A land part 3c abuts to the contact part 6b of the each terminal 6 when the CPU 3 is mounted on the connector 1. When the CPU 3 is energized from an upper side under this condition, the contact part 6b is bent to make the terminal 6 contact with the land part 3c. The contact part 6b is not brought into contact with the land 3c nearest to the fixing part 6a therein, but contacts with the land part 3c in a side positioned sideways by one pitch. A length of the contact part 6b is elongated thereby to reduce energizing force for the CPU 3. Stress is dispersed in the contact part 6b because the contact part 6b abuts on the abutting part 8 in a wide range. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
