PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wedge which is prevented from excessively engaging its teeth with a tendon, to thereby avoid tendon fracture. SOLUTION: The wedge functions to anchor the tendon 17 for prestress concrete to an anchorage device, and has a tapered shape with a hollow portion therein. According the wedge, the teeth are formed on the surface of the hollow portion each consist of two tooth tips, i.e. a larger tooth tip 15a and a smaller tooth tip 15b. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
