PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve a sorting and packaging apparatus for agricultural products for storing once the agricultural products which have arrived in a warehouse before casing, then discharging them to a casing and packaging section, and casing and packing the products day and night. SOLUTION: The sorting and packaging apparatus has saucer transfer devices (7A to 7F) for storing, into base trays 8, a plurality of predetermined saucers containing the agricultural products which have been sorted, warehouses (17A to 17D) into/from which the base trays 8 with a predetermined number of saucers 2 containing the agricultural products can be automatically carried by the saucer transfer devices (7A to 7F), and a warehouse management device 112 for managing the storage of the base trays into/out of the warehouse. The corresponding base tray is taken out from the warehouse according to the command from the management device 112 and discharged to casing and packaging sections (16A to 16E) for casing the products.
