PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superheating pipe mounting method in a case where a superheating pipe and a header of a marine boiler are made of different materials, enabling to give high durability to the superheating pipe after mounting, and causing no problem in machining. SOLUTION: When the superheating pipe of the marine boiler is attached to the header made of different material from that of the superheating pipe, a short pipe made of the same material as that of the superheating pipe and a short pipe made of the same material as that of the header are provided between the superheating pipe and the header, and the superheating pipe is attached to the header through these two short pipes.
