PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for managing defecation allowing a manager to accurately grasp and manage whether a subject defecates or not without making the subject ashamed and with less trouble on the part of the manager by a simple system structure. SOLUTION: The system comprises a first sensor 3 for not detecting falling of a liquid into a toilet bowl 1 but detecting falling of a solid body, a second sensor 4 for detecting that paper 5 is taken out of a paper holder 2, a processing means 7 for receiving detection signals from the sensors and determining that defecation is made when the first sensor 3 detects falling of a solid body after the first sensor 3 detects the falling of the solid body and the second sensor 4 detects that the paper 5 is taken out, and a memory means 8 for receiving a determination signal from the processing means indicating that the defecation is made and storing the signal as data.
