PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for enabling an inhibitor of an enzyme having no sharp method for measuring activities to be selected by using a diluted trace candidate material when screening the inhibitor. SOLUTION: The method for screening an enzyme-inhibiting peptide comprises (1) a step of developing the enzyme on a gel by an electrophoresis, (2) a step of transferring the enzyme developed on the gel to a membrane, (3) a step of soaking the membrane with the transferred enzyme in a solution containing a peptide of a candidate, and (4) a step of confirming whether or not the enzyme transferred to the membrane exhibits the activities.
