PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis method by which a base sequence can be analyzed in high work efficiency, when using a nucleic acid bound to a substrate as a primer, performing an elongation reaction using the nucleic acid of analysis target as a template, and then utilizing the MALDI-TOF MS analysis of the elongation product. SOLUTION: When a nucleic acid used as a primer is bound to a substrate, a partial structure cleavable with light is disposed in the 5'-side portion of the primer not affecting a hybridization with the template. After an elongation reaction, prescribed light is irradiated to selectively cleave the partial structure cleavable with the light. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
