PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wrinkles from being generated on a thin plate along a joint line between a thick and thin plates in a tailored blank, even if a door panel is press-formed from the tailored blank. SOLUTION: The door panel is press-formed from the tailored blank 1 in the manner that, stretching over the joint line 4 between the thick plate 2 and the thin plate 3 of the tailored blank 1, a weather strip 5 comes close to each side of the abutting place 21 and that a bead 22 crossing the joint line 4 is formed.
