PURPOSE: Hiding structure of a drain hole for a gasket in a washing machine is provided to improve appearance and reliability by covering the drain hole not to be showed outside the washing machine with closing the inner periphery of the rear fitting unit. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine includes a cabinet(51); a cabinet cover(54) arranged in the front of the cabinet and composed of a laundry hole part(54a); a tub(56) arranged in the cabinet and composed of an opening hole part(56a) in the rear part of the laundry hole part; and a gasket(80) having a front fitting unit(82) surrounding and fitting the laundry hole part, a rear fitting unit(84) surrounding and fitting the opening hole part, and a folding part(88) bent and overlapped and formed between the front fitting unit and the rear fitting unit. The front diameter of the folding part is little than the rear diameter, and a drain hole(85) is formed between the inner periphery and the outer periphery of the rear fitting unit to drain water from the inner periphery of the folding part to the tub. The drain hole is covered by closing the inner periphery of the rear fitting unit. |
