<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform the sterilization even at a high wind speed. <P>SOLUTION: This air purification system for purifying the air sucked in a main body case 1 and blowing out the same to the outside of the main body case 1, comprises an ozone lamp 14 as a radiator generating the ozone, an optical catalyst filter 17 activated by the light from the ozone lamp 14, and an ozone catalyst filter 18 positioned on a downstream side of the optical catalyst filter 17. The sterilization can be efficiently performed by the ozone generated by the light from the ozone lamp 14, and active oxygen generated in decomposing the ozone by the ozone catalyst filter 18.
