<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a data distribution system in a simplified configuration by suppressing the signal throughput. <P>SOLUTION: Encoded data of H.323 received data and H.320 received data of ITU-T recommendations are reproduced by using a decoder part 504 as they are and distributed in streams onto an IP network through a distribution data processing part 506 by eliminating processing that once decodes these data by using a decoder and reencodes the data by using an encoder. This eliminates the need for the decoder and the encoder to simplify processing and the configuration. When decoded digital data are needed, a switching control part 503 selects encoded data of the H.323 and H.320 received data and supplies them to the decoder part 504 to use the decoder part in common. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
