<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a proper insurance contract to a traveling automobile. <P>SOLUTION: On-vehicle equipment 3 is provided with an IC card reader/writer 33 for reading data from at least an IC card 350, an on-vehicle equipment HDD31 in which the insurance contract data of an automobile and the information of the automobile are stored, a state specifying means for specifying an insurance entry status by using insurance contract data read from the IC card 350 by the IC card reader/writer 33 and insurance contract data stored in the on-vehicle HDD 31, and a display means for, when it is judged that the insurance entry status is a preliminarily decided status, displaying information related with the detected status at a display device.
