<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive recording composition which is chemically and physically stable and thermally develops a colorless or light-colored color to a black or brown color, and a method for thermosensitive recording which can record a black image with a high contrast by heating. <P>SOLUTION: A thermosensitive recording composition comprising a nitrogen atom-containing resin and an inorganic material, and a method for thermosensitive recording in which recording is performed by heating on the surface of a molded article prepared by molding the thermosensitive recording composition, are provided.
