<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the removal of the mirror from the rear of the lid body for compact containers which allows separate recovery in the discarding thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The mirror 30 with an elastic frame-shaped member 31 attached thereto is fitted into a large recessed part 17 cut into the rear of the top wall 12 of the lid body. Both vertical surfaces facing each other of the large recessed part are made as first and second vertical wall surfaces 17a and 17b and outer frame parts respectively contacting both the vertical surfaces as first and second outer frame parts 31a and 31b. The first vertical wall surfaces 17a are fitted with the the first outer frame parts 31a by a proper method and the second vertical wall surfaces 17b are fitted with the second outer frame parts 31b by getting the first and second engaging pieces 35 and 18 engaged together. A small recessed part 19 is bored on the side of the second vertical wall surface 17b in communication therewith and the side end undersurfaces of the small recessed part and the large recessed part are made to be connected with each other with a mounting plate 20. Thus, the tip part of an operating member 41 is inserted into a clearance between the mounting plate and the top wall to fit the operating member 41 into the small recessed part and the operating member is pushed out toward the large recessed part to make the first engaging piece 35 come off the second enaging piece 18 thereby enabling the removal of the mirror 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
