<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for needles including a medical tool like a needle holder or a syringe. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes a centesis tip extending from the end of the medical device. A shield 50 rotatably connected to the medical device rotates to a shielding position in which the shield surrounds a trocar 30 and a withdrawal position, namely non-shielding position in which the shield rotates, is separated and withdrawn from the trocar 30 with respect to the trocar 30. The shield is provided with an overhanging lever 66 transversely overhanging and the medical device is provided with an overhanging arm 24 transversely overhanging. A slanting element to accumulate energy to slant the trocar 30 to the shielding position is arranged between the lever and the arm. When the lever and the arm are relatively moved, the shield 50 rotates to the withdrawal position.
