<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iris image input apparatus in which a person to be identified easily notice timing to push a switch when an iris image thereof is taken. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a photographing device 3 to take an iris image, an recognition device 1 to register and check iris information based on the iris image taken by the photographing device 3, and a monitor 2 to display the iris image taken by the photographing device 3. The recognition device 1 displays the iris image dyed in a color which indicates whether a focus point exists around the iris or not on the monitor 2. The photographing device 3 is portable. A illumination part to irradiate a light to the iris, and a photograph taking pit 4 to take the iris image into the apparatus are provided on the surface of the photographing device 3 which faces to the iris of a person to be identified 8 when taking a photograph. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
