<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a player and a playing method which enable even a user having no knowledge of the contents of music to play music. <P>SOLUTION: When the player is going to play the music of faint memory of the timing of one key stroke here and there, the automatic playing state is provided that music data is automatically played is attained even if a one keystroke is not carried out when the beat period absent of the one keystroke exceeds the given time. When the one keystroke is resumed in this state, the automatic playing is canceled and again the one key play is reset and therefore even the user having no knowledge of the contents of the music can play the music. Also, if the portion making the one keystroke difficult in terms of the timing, such as a portion of the rests or notes of the note length shorter than, for example, the sixteenth note continuing for the prescribed number or more, is set in a mechanical playing section, this section is automatically played even without making the one keystroke and therefore even the user having no knowledge of the contents of the music can play the music. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
